PLASTIC INJECTION MOULDING WITH ONE PARTNER, FROM PROTOTYPE TO SERIES PRODUCTION
Design, toolmaking and plastic injection moulding from one source. Avoid coordinating multiple suppliers and entrust us with full technical responsibility!
FULL RESPONSIBILITY
When design, toolmaking and plastic injection moulding are handled by separate suppliers, coordination difficulties often lead to delays and additional costs. Mitter’s end-to-end model eliminates this fragmentation:
A dedicated project manager is your point of contact, while our expert engineering and production team takes responsibility for precise execution.
A STRATEGIC PARTNER
The process begins with technical consultation, rather than order acceptance. Our engineers work alongside developers from the design stage onwards.
Design for manufacturing (DFM):
We recommend geometric modifications that improve the component’s structural integrity while reducing material requirements and cycle time.
A prototype-based approach:
We help select the right material grade, taking into account the final operating environment, including thermal loads, chemical exposure and mechanical stresses.
Cost control:
We provide a precise calculation of expected unit costs during the design phase, keeping the project financially predictable.
PROFESZIONÁLIS
SZERSZÁMKÉSZÍTÉS
Versatile applications
We also manufacture and repair the following tools:

Precision tools

Injection moulds for thermosets and thermoplastics

Multi-cavity moulds

Aluminium die-casting dies

Blanking, bending and pressing tools

Prototype tooling
Thanks to our commitment to continuous improvement and ongoing investment in our machinery, we can now meet tooling requirements across a wide range of applications, from the smallest sizes up to mould plates measuring 1600 × 800 mm. Our activities have expanded to include plastic injection moulding, allowing us to offer our customers complete solutions for the metal and plastics industries.
AN INTEGRATED PRODUCTION CHAIN: TOOLMAKING AND INJECTION MOULDING ON ONE SITE
At Mitter, toolmaking and series production form a closely integrated system. The direct physical and technical connection between these two areas guarantees faster sampling, more stable series production and more predictable costs.
Immediate feedback between engineers and process specialists.
Our toolmakers and injection moulding process specialists work together under one roof every day. Tool trials and modifications can therefore be completed in hours rather than days.
CRITICAL INCIDENT MANAGEMENT: IMMEDIATE RESPONSE TO TOOL FAILURES
With repair and production capacity on the same site, our response time to a tool failure is measured in hours rather than days. This direct proximity is the key safeguard for the reliability and predictability of your production.
STRUCTURED PRODUCTION LAUNCH
RAMP-UP
At Mitter, launching production is more than simply switching on a machine. Our multi-stage engineering process guarantees stable, defect-free production from the first day of series manufacturing.
Data-driven process optimisation
During trial production, we rely on measured data rather than intuition. We precisely measure machine settings and cooling parameters to establish a stable production process that can withstand changes in external conditions. The result is consistent premium quality without fluctuations, from the first component to the last.
Iterative fine-tuning
Based on the first samples (T1), we make the necessary modifications to the tool and machine settings. Our goal is to minimise cycle time while producing dimensionally accurate components free from internal stresses.
Metrology validation and process capability
On request, we check every critical dimension using a 3D coordinate measuring machine in line with automotive requirements and prepare the required PPAP documentation. We consider the production launch complete only when process capability indicators confirm stable long-term production.
SERIES PRODUCTION
Stable production with consistent quality.
Predictability is our priority in series production. For medium-volume projects of 1,000–100,000 units per year, we apply the same premium quality controls as we do to production runs of millions, avoiding fluctuations in quality.
